Our family was blessed with a baby girl on April 16th 2013. Kyndall Marie Macon was born weighing 9 pounds and was 21 3/4 inches long. She was born on my Gran Gran's birthday which made the day even more special. We know she came straight from heaven because our Pa Pa told her to stick her litty tongue out at us! Pa Pa used to always stick his tongue out at his great grandchildren. That is exactly what she did right when she was born! Kyndall is now two months old and is just precious. She is a little sweet heart and a snuggle bear.
Our precious girl:
100% sugary sweet-Favors her big brother
* 2 week doctor appointment 94% for weight and 96% height (She's a chunky monkey just like her brother!)
*Good sleeper! She will sleep for 3 and 4 hour stretches from birth. Now at 2 months she will sometimes sleep for 6 hours straight. I love those nights! On the nights that she wakes up she will usually nurse for a few minutes and then go right back to sleep.
* At two months she smiles, laughs, and coos! So adorable. She loves to watch her big brother. She is starting to focus more on people and things. She gives the biggest smiles to us. She laughs at the monkeys hanging on her bouncer seat and play mat mobile. Her two month appointment is on Thursday. I'll post stats later.
Here is more of her story with pictures.
Kyndall is using the same crib that Collin slept in. My parents came down to help us get everything ready. Collin asked for a rag so that he could also help clean it for her. I know he is going to be a great big brother. What a sweet boy!
Kyndall does not know how lucky she is yet. She has an awesome family that loves her so much! Here are some pictures of our family baby shower held at my parent's house. The girls in my family went all out! The theme was pastels and pearls. So girly!
Kiley made the K for Kyndall. I can't wait to put it in her room.
Simply adorable!
Kyndall is so blessed to have two amazing and beautiful Great Grandmothers!
My PePaw relaxing at the shower.
Ashli made this sweet K and frame that will also be super cute in her room.
Look at that belly!!! This picture was taken at my church shower. I love my church family.
These yummy and adorable cupcakes were from my school shower.
K for baby Kyndall!
My sweet teacher friends gave me a wonderful shower after Kyndall was born.
Kyndall was born at the Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, OK. Yes, that's right my friends she is an Okie! My doctors were wonderful and everything went as planned. They let me select the music to listen to during surgery. Of course I picked Show Tunes. They said that this was a first for them, but they all enjoyed it! I was a little more nervous before and during this c-section than I was with Collin. I guess because I was much more aware of what they were doing. Never the less, Dr. O'Daniel and Dr. Eppert did an amazing job and I recovered from this surgery much faster than I did with the first.
Our first family photo on the day Kyndall was born. They are my heart!!!

Our preacher Bruce also stopped by.
We truly felt the love of family and friends during this special time. My mom and dad both stayed and helped me out the first week Kyndall was born. Trent was only able to take off two days. He was busy with pharmacy rotations in OKC. I sure missed him. He is an excellent nurse and a do it all daddy. My parents and my Gran were awesome helpers in his place. Gran got to stay with me the second week. I could not have done it with out them. Church and school friends brought over so much food. Carolyn sent a honey baked ham. YUM! We did not go hungry. My dad took Collin to school on the days I was in the hospital because Trent had to be in "the city" (that's what they call OKC around here) at 6am. One morning Collin freaked out because he didn't have a lunch packed. So he and my dad threw this together....oh my I'm sure the teachers were thinking that I had lost my mind! Luckily most of them knew that I was in the hospital and was not responsible for this lunch.
Nice....too funny not to share. I remember it hurting to laugh after surgery, and I was dying over this!
Kyndall is growing so fast!
